HOMES FOR SALE IN WEST OAK TRAILS OAKVILLE
When considering homes for sale in West Oak Trails Oakville it is important to
know that West Oak Trails is one of Oakville?s most popular neighbourhoods
because of its central locations, quality of schools, and generally lower price point
(in comparison to some of the more expensive neighbourhoods here in Oakville).
Located just north of Glen Abbey on the north side of Upper Middle Road and East
of Bronte Road and South or Dundas Rd and west of Lion?s Valley Park. West Oak
Trails typically offers the highest concentration of detached homes that fit the
average sales price category. West Oak Trails, as the name suggests, has a large
number of walking trails interwoven into the neighbourhood and is very central to
the new Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. When considering homes for sale
in West Oak Trails Oakville you will be happy to know that West Oak Trails is also
home to one of Oakville?s more popular family oriented Italian restaurants called
The Olive Press which I can personally attest to the high quality of both taste and
service.
West Oak Trails was built up in the late 1990?s and into the early 2000?s. Mattamy
Homes was the most prolific builder in West Oak Trails. The founder of Mattamy
Homes, Peter Gilgan has donated large sums to the Oakville Hospital and can be
given much of the credit for the development of the Town of Milton which was
made possible by extending the water main from Oakville to Milton.. Here is a list

SCHOOLS IN WEST OAK TRAILS OAKVILLE
Homes for sale in West Oak Trails Oakville benefit from some excellent schools and that factor is
certainly priced in the value of homes for sale in West Oak Trails Oakville. Most parents consider the
quality of education available to their children to be one of the most important factors in
deciding where to move. While a good quality education does not guarantee success in life, it
certainly provides more opportunities for our children. The better the school district (or
catchment as its called) the higher the price of real estate in that neighbourhood, so there?s
usually a decision that has to be made in terms of how new and nice the home you want
versus the quality of the school zone you want for your children (unless private school is an
option). Does a quality school guarantee the success of a student? Maybe, maybe not. Could a
student in an average school who had the benefit of parents who are engaged in their success
fare better or just as good? These are legitimate questions that are usually considered when
trying to weigh the value of a great school zone versus an average one as the price of land and
homes changes accordingly. Here are the public schools available in West Oak Trails Oakville:

DINING IN WEST OAK TRAILS OAKVILLE
Dining in West Oak Trails, Oakville is an absolute treat and one of the many reasons my family and I
moved to Oakville. In order to survive as a business in this town restaurants need to not only
offer great tasting fresh food but also need to provide exemplary customer service since there
are so many restaurants here, they all really push each other to be better and to meet their
discerning customer?s good taste. Here you will truly be able to ?taste the world? as we say.
This neighbourhood is so very diverse and a microcosm of Canada itself that we have
restauranteurs with their roots in many different countries. In addition to regular Canadian
cuisine, we have many Italian restaurants each with their own flare. Dining in West Oak Trails,
Oakville would not be complete with out a fine selection of Asian inspired cuisine from China,
Korea, Japan and of course Taiwan. There?s more. We have an enviable selection of middle
eastern cuisine as well (Persian food is one of my favourite foods, I love the koobideh). South
East Asian restaurants are also on the rise here packing rich flavours and satisfying dishes.
There is seemingly no end to where you can dine or order food from, which is comforting. Not
everyone wants to cook every night. It?s nice to know that there are many options at your finger
fingertips. There are also a number of Facebook groups that love sharing their experiences at
all these different restaurants. Feel free to reach out to me and I will be happy to steer you in
the right direction. Now I?m hungry.
